    1842 Death Certificate:

    Rank or Profession: Widow of HAR(R)ALD, Shop Keepper and ?????

    Cause of Death: ????? ??? the Chest.

    I think the occupation is Comber.

    Haven't a clue about the cause of death.

    Thanks Pam. Yes I admit I thought Comber but was seeking a second confirmation. I'm struggling to find a medical line that reads 'unknown of the chest' that would fit the writing! Mitch

    Looking at the W in Widow and the first letter of the cause of death could it be 'Water' See pleural effusion.
