Good Morning all, Anyone familiar with the Cross ancestors from Wincanton Somerset. I am trying to find the family of Osman Cross bap. 23/5/1739 his marriage to Elizabeth White 11/6/1761 Wincanton, burial etc.Would like to receive any information on this family.

Burial. 28 January 1800. Osmond Cross. Wincanton. (No age or other identifying detail).
Free Reg has several other records in which an Osmand Cross of Wincanton is named as principal or as family member.
Several children of Osman and Mary Cross born 1743-52, but no Osman.

If you have found his baptism, presumably you have identified his parents.
Free Reg has the baptism of an Osmond Cross in Shaftesbury on 30 May 1739, father Osmand.
(Family search gives the date of baptism as 23 May 1739)

Ancestry has this but it is Realy Osmand if you look at the record

Good Evening somehow this doesn't make sense. Osmond Cross bap. 20/5/1739 and has children in 1744, 1745 and 1751 Robert Cross, he marries a Elizabeth White in 1761, where is Mary I can't find their marriage.Searched in Find My Past and Ancestry.

You give a baptism date, but not the names of his parents.

brentorboy has identified the possible parents of Osman, but says that he can't find the baptism you quoted. Though in his next post (number 3 in the thread) he has found it.

Sandyhall then identifies by name the various children brentorboy found, and gives further details, confirming that the father of Osman born 1739 is also called Osman.

Not sure where Robert Cross comes into the equation
Osman born 1739 remarries in 1786 after his first wife Elizabeth dies in 1785. Just to confuse things, his second wife is called Mary, the same as his mother.
(Note that I am making a huge, and possibly dangerous, assumption here that it's Osman junior who marries in 1786, and not his father.)
