Default Confidential? Reports, 19-20 July 1918

Mis-filed in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363) is a collection of notes (one marked Very Secret, but written in German!) from various sources, all dated 19/20 July 1918. They range from "Nothing To Report" to detailed action in France.

    Is this a significant date?

May be of interest to someone doing research.

Battle of The Marne started 19/20 July. A bit confusing as the list covers Salonika and Middle East, but France is mentioned too.

Well that would explain the GHQ France report: bombs dropped all over the place and prisoners taken "since YESTERDAY MORNING":
    10th Army - 17000
    6th Army - 1800
    5th Army - 140
Those numbers are mind-blowing - I've never considered what happened to prisoners in the middle of a battle. What would you do with them all?

    Thank you Peter
