Hi
I have been researching my families history for about 10 years.
I have had some success getting back to 1790
Other areas and relatives have been more, difficult to get accurate info that
You can correlate dates and locations with.
My mum was from Hull England
My grandparents from Sunderland England
On my dads side, my grandfather was from Porthsmouth
And grandmum from Glasgow,Scotland
I have tried a number of sites that you can get info from
But it’s like running in a circle sometimes
The journey continues
Thanks
Chris

If you would like to give details of some of the individuals in whom you are interested - what you have found, where you have looked and what further information you are looking for - there are many of us only too willing to help you with your search.

bb - I've made a start on replying to one query in this thread but haven't had time to delve further than finding that by 1911 Richard was in the navy on board HMS Edgar and George was in the army in India.

Chris,
yes, do start a new thread about the Chiverton family otherwise it gets confusing.
If you already have the census stuff, marriage details, etc, such as I gave in your other thread, please tell them to us as it saves us duplicating your work. (Nothing worse than to spend an hour doing intensive research - and carefully typing it out! - only to be told 'I already know that'.)
