Strange - all I have is the 1768 marriage. Second date confirms she was single..

Could it the calling of the Banns? Wasn't that done twice, especially if they were resident in different parishes?

Church Banns where call for 3 sundays in the 3 weeks before Weddings in Church when the couple who where getting married had to attened the church as well. If they lived in different parishes I think they had to go to there own Church as the Banns where read in both parishes

I don't think it would be Banns as the dates are 2 years apart
