    Hi,
    I am new to this site and have recently discovered that my Irish Marks family aren't as Irish as I thought. It looks like they came from Somerset UK before moving to Ireland in mid/late 1600's. I have so found DNA connections to Marks in South and North Petherton,Somerset and nearby areas. If you have Marks ancestry from this area I would love to hear from you.

    Check out "Free Reg" (Google it!). There a number of records for Marks, South and North Petherton 1600-1700
