I'm back so soon
Re John Albert Porter, got a download back of his death cert from GRO, which has settled the fact that his death was in 1946 not 1962, which explains why I have no memories of him at all.
But a couple of questions
1 Sandwell Valley Crematorium, is where the majority of my family have been cremated since it opened in 1962, so the main question would be, did they cremate or bury people in 1946 and where would I likely enquire for any records?
2 Cause of death was 1a epithelioma of the neck
1b pulmonary tuberculosis
Would either of those have likely been the cause of incapacitation mentioned
on his 1939 census?
Thanks Mike
