    Another MORCOM mis-filed as MARCOM in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

    Arthur Basil MORCOM, born Georgeham, Barnstaple, Devon.
    Father: B
    Address: 13 Holmbury View, Upper Clapton, London.

    Joined the RFA in June 1900, served until 1905, then re-joined on 20 May 1909 (Regt No. 667), declaring age 30y 6m and now married. An Engineer working for the London Hydraulic P??? Co.
    Still serving in 1911 but no further information.

    Arthur Basil Morcom's parents

    William Genn Morcom and Maria HARNEIS (or HARCIS ?) who married 1872, St George, Hanover Squ.

    Arthur Basil married Emma Gertrude Owen, Hackney, 1903. Divorced 1910.

    remarried 1911, Emily Esther FAUL

    Arthur Basil Morcom of 63 Grosvenor Ave, East Sheen, London SW 14 died 12 October 1954 at Kingston Hospital, Kingston-upon-Thames. Probate granted to Esther Emily Morcom, widow.
