Hi, my name is Sharron and I am looking forward to getting to know you and getting to know the site and what it can offer. I have been researching my family tree now for about 13 years, so as you can see I am not a whizz at it but enjoy it and I am getting there.

Hi Sharron
Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums. Even those who have been doing genealogy for a lot longer than you still don't claim to be 'experts.' It has got a lot easier of course with so many records now online.
You are in the right place to meet many like minded others who enjoy the chase.

Hi Sharron, we're very pleased you've joined us, welcome in.
We have some experienced researchers who are always willing to help other members. If you have come to a standstill on one or more lines or are looking for a particular record, post on a relevant forum and we'll try our best to help. Don't worry if you aren't sure which forum to choose as if a post goes in the wrong forum a moderator can move it.
I hope you enjoy your time with us and wish you luck with your searches.
Oh, and feel free to join in if you can help around the forums.
Hope to see you soon,
Alma.Alma

Hi Sharron,
When looking at this, your own post, scroll down to the blue bar at the bottom of the page and click on "home" you'll then be presented with a list of all the forums, if for instance, you have a brickwall you'll find that forum 2nd down, as I mentioned if you choose the 'wrong forum' mod's can easily remove your post.
Good luck with your query.Alma
