Scotland's People have a birth of a Clyde William Kynoch in 1903. Details may include date and place of parents' marriage I think.

    https://www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services...rth_Entry.html
This link ( hope ok to post it) should take you to the Hong Kong gov site and explains how to obtain birth records.
As far as I can understand the online service does not apply to you and you need to make a postal application. You need to download forms for a search of records and then a form to order a copy. There is a charge for each.
I don't know if they hold records for 1900 or not, as I believe many records were destroyed in WW2.
Some HK gov services are currently suspended due to covid so replies could be slow in arriving.

You could always try emailing first with a general enquiry.

    Hi Doreen

Catherine's records are on Scotland's People. You need to register and buy a few credits to see details.

    Marriage 1914 Hillhead ref644/12 283
    Anderson Catherine Johnston
    Kynoch James H

    Birth
    1886 Maryhill ref 622/1679
    Anderson Catherine Johnston

    Death 1975 Eastwood and Means
    Kynoch Catherine Johnston
    Other surname Anderson
    Mother's maiden name Johnston

FS have Edna and Catherine visiting America in 1938.Edna born China.
Both also mentione in FS in a probate record for Jeanie Brown Anderson.
    Hope this helps.

Regarding posts 2 and 11, have you purchased the birth certificate of Clyde to see if it contains any clues?

Googling "Hong Kong Memories Kynoch" returned the deaths of James Henry Kynoch 1926 (already reported) and Clyde William Kynoch 1909.
The "Gwulo:Old Hong Kong List of burials ..." has 2 other Kynoch deaths.

But the Kynoch/Cooper marriage proving very elusive.
