There are 4 Ancestry.Co public family trees which have Henry married to Amelia Nagel aka Naegele 1870-1955.
The marriage record is for Philadelphia Pennsylvania but is index only. Her parents Xavier Nagle 1839-1909 and Sanna Bauman 1843-1892 Germany.

As a summary of the children of Meier Nyberg and Rebecca Solomon the records indicate that there were no descendants of the lines. The male line died young and two of the daughters never married.

Among the remaining issues relating to the Nyberg aka Neuburger lines are who was Edward Nyberg who appears in the Australian Newspaper Archive records in 1861 and 1864 with links to Meyer Nyberg. I have already posted on the partnership between Edward, Myer aka Meyer Nyberg and Benjamin Cahn. Benjamin Cahn also appears in various Australian Newspaper Archive records including a small obituary. This obituary plus Ancestry.Co public family trees show he came from Hesse Cassel and surrounding area and arrived in Australia circa 1853-54.
He was born in 1833.
Whether or nor the Nyberg and Cahn were related is not known.
There is currently no clear data which identifies Edward Nyberg as a brother or other relative of Meier and Alfred.

On a separate issue in#9 of this thread I made reference to the Death of Gettchen Neuburger March 1869 and her burial in Allendorf. It was speculated she may have been the mother of Meier and Alfred.
Further data was posted which showed that Meier and his family left Australia for Cologne in 1867.
The birth of his daughter Louisa in London and then later move to Germany may indicate that Meier was visiting his parents but this is not confirmed. The birth of Henry Israel Nyberg in Australia may also suggest that Meier's father Israel was dead based on the Ashkenazi naming tradition but this is not confirmed.

The following data suggests that Elias Neuburger b abt 1832 Hesse Cassel is the 3rd brother of Meier and Alfred.
The Victoria Australia Naturalisation Certificates record Elias NEUBURGER Warehouseman Melbourne age 29 Native Place Hesse Cassell Date of Certificate 9.4.1861.
This date is the same for Meier Neuburger and the 2 certificates can be seen side by side on the Ancestry.Co website. Alfred Nyberg was naturalised 6.9.1865 by that time the surname had been adapted from Neuburger to Nyberg.

It now appears that Elias was the elder brother and changed his first name to Edward.

It is possible that the Elias aka Edward may have additional lines through marriage but this has yet to be confirmed. The known brother in dob are Elisa aka Edward b abt 1832; Meier aka Meyer b bt 1834; Alfred b abt 1840

There are several UK records which relate to a Elias aka Edward Neuburger b abt 1832. Whether or not he is the same person as the brother of Meier and Alfred requires confirmation.
There is also one Jewish Chronicle Archive reference to a M Neuburger Esq donation to the Aged Needy Jews- Jewish Chronicle March 17 1876. Again, there is insufficient data to confirm that he is Meier Neuburger brother os Elias aka Edward and Alfred.

The London Gazette 10 Jan 1888 reference to the bankruptcy of Edward Neuburger Colveston Crescent West Hackney Middlesex. The London Electoral Rolls show Edward Neuburger 1885-1890 living at 82 Colveston Crescent Hackney North.

The GRO Death Index has ELIAS NEUBURGER Oct qtr 1890 age 58 Hackney 1b 325. This would give a dob of circa 1832. This dob matches that of Elias Neuberger Victoria Naturalisation Certificate in 1861.

Further research is needed to confirm that Elias aka Edward Neuburger in Victoria in 1861 is the same person as in the UK during the 1880s. However, this may explain why Meier Neuburger was in the UK in 1881 or earlier.

The following data relates to the will of David Benjamin 1816-1893 who married Esther Solomon sister of Rebecca Solomon. Rebecca married Meier Neuburger in Hobart Tasmania as previously posted on.
In his will ( See Synagogue Scribes Will Extracts NA 1635 and NA 054 Both in 1893) David Benjamin left a range of bequests including one to Rebecca Neuburger wife of Myer Neuburger of 61 East 112 th street Harlem New York £300.

Nb The other bequests included Elizabeth Cashmore, Rev Dr Hermann Adler, Dr Nathan Marcus Adler's wife.
