This post adds data on ISAAC ALFRED NYBERG aka Alfred aka MYBERG and his wife HELEN BREMNER CAMPBELL.

As a recap Isaac Alfred Nyberg was the son of Alfred NYBERG and Alice CRAWCOUR.
Isaac aka Alfred appears in the Ireland Grand Lodge Of Freemasons records-Alida? Lodge 292 Pietermaritzburg Natal South Africa

The initial letter of his surname was struck out and letter 'N' substituted. I can't read the original letter clearly. The dates for his records include 8.1.1913,16.8.13.Resigned 1925. Rejoined 1952. Died 1959.
His occupation Gas Engineer.

The UK Military Campaign Records show his service in the South African Colonial Corps 1899-1902.

Reviewing the current records on Esther Ellen Nyberg aka Nell aka Nellie Myberg aka Esther Nell Pottage there is no current explanation as to why the surname MYBERG was adopted and why it appears on the South African Death Records in 1965.

In her pre nuptial marriage contract in 1925 with Charles George Pottage she was called NYBERG.
Her siblings were all known as Nyberg. In 1935 Isaac Alfred Nyberg signed himself Alfred Nyberg on his brother Isadore's probate record. His name Alfred Isaac Nyberg was partly deleted on one of the probate records and Isaac Alfred recorded and initialled.

The children of Alice Nyberg nee Crawcour with the exception of Isadore married out of the Jewish faith/customs as the marriage records confirm.
