    Hi bluebell1969,

To make sure we're looking at the same records as you, are we talking about the Patrick who in the 1901 census is aged 40, dock labourer, born Liverpool, and living in Burlington Street, Liverpool?
Wife Elizabeth, aged 39, Patrick 9, Michael 7, and all born Liverpool. Census reference RG13/3410 folio 171 page 55.

However, Patrick's age in that census is not consistent with the age at death of the Patrick Cunningham who died in 1908, aged 42. DO you have a copy of that death certificate, and if so, who is the informant and does a give a relationship to Patrick? (e.g. Fred Bloggs, brother of the deceased?)

I've found a Patrick and Elizabeth living in Burlington Street in the 1891 census. Census reference RG12/2901 folio 28 page 6. Both are 26, born Liverpool, and Patrick is a general labourer. That age would fit better with the age at death of the Patrick who died in 1908.

Unfortunately the age at marriage isn't included in the Catholic marriage register online on Ancestry so i think you need to invest in the 'official' certificate issued by the GRO which should include the ages of the bride and groom. You do need this because if they were about 25 when they married, then you can almost certainly rule out the two Patricks born in 1862 and possibly the one born in 1868.
You can order the marriage certificate either from Liverpool registrar office
    https://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk/marriagesearch.php
(type in the name and you get a link from which to order)
    or from the GRO https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/c...ates/login.asp

If you choose the latter the details you want are registration district Liverpool, 4th/Dec quarter 1890, volume number 8b page number 364.
Note that the reference numbers for ordering from the GRO and Liverpool registrar office are completely different and are not interchangeable.

Have you traced the Patricks/parents you've listed forward through the censuses and on to marriage?

Ooh. I've just noticed in that register entry for the marriage that 'filium' has been crossed through and what appears to be 'relictam' written before the father's name which to me implies that Patrick senior is deceased. Or allegedly deceased because our ancestors did lie if it suited their cause. Elizabeth also has had the filiam crossed through and relictam written before her father's name.

This may or may not be relevant, so treat with care. Ages don't add up exactly.

Ancestry have a record of a burial in Ford Cemetery (a mainly Roman Catholic cemetery in Liverpool) for a Patrick Cunningham, aged 76, on Monday 28 April 1941. Buried in grave RD.1201. His address is given as 241 Westminster Road. Note that bluebell's Patrick married in a RC church.
No Patrick Cunningham living in Westminster Road in 1939 (though there is a Joseph, born in 1867), but it seems Kirkdale Homes was for the 'aged and infirm' in buildings which originally housed the KIrkdale Industrial School. https://www.workhouses.org.uk/Liverpool/
There is Patrick Cunningham, date of birth March 1866, living in Eccleston Hall Sanitorium, East Street, St Helens. He's a retired general labourer, and allegedly single - other men are listed as 'W', widowers.

Unfortunately, the two marriage witnesses are Elizabeth's sister and her husband, so no link to Patrick's ancestry.

At marriage Patrick's address was 61, Raymond St. In 1891 an Ann Cunningham is at that address she's a widow age 60 born County Down.

This could be Patrick and his mother Ann in 1881??
    RG11; Piece: 3598; Folio: 65; Page: 32;

29, Raymond St, Liverpool. Ann Cunningham 58 ( age doesn't tally with 1891), widow Ireland, Patrick Cunningham 17, Liverpool.

There's a tree on Ancestry which has these people as Patrick's parents and siblings

    RG 9; Piece: 2652; Folio: 200; Page: 41
    1861,
    Patrick Cunningham 36, Ireland
    Ann Cunningham 34, Ireland
    Mary Ann Cunningham 14, Liverpool
    Rose Cunningham 12, Liverpool
    Catharine Cunningham 8, Liverpool
    Peter Cunningham 1, Liverpool

Peter's MMN is Morgan. There's this birth reg for a Patrick
CUNNINGHAM, PATRICK Mother's maiden name MORGAN
GRO Reference: 1863 M Quarter in LIVERPOOL Volume 08B Page 9

I am too tired now to search further to try and ascertain these are your folks, perhaps someone else will pick up the baton
