    In 1906 she would be 67 - the newspaper article describes her as an aged midwife - so could be her. She also had family before arrival in the USA so they could technically be the named daughters......

    The 1880 census has a John & Christine Eckhard at Miller Street - both aged 56, along with daughter Caroline aged 18. John is a Gardner.

    If its the same Caroline then she was about 18 months in 1860 & her parents were John (a turner, aged 30) & Barbara!
