Just some basics. Your Titus Webb was born 1796, baptised 5 May 1796 Brierley Hill Staffordshire son of Benjamine and Phoebe nee Perry.
Titus 52 occupation crockery? and Catherine 46 are on the 1850 USA census in New York and with them is an Elijah Webb age 13 born England. Relationships aren't given but if this is their son then their marriage could have been in England or Scotland. Or Elijah may be a son from a first marriage for Titus.

Catherine's arrival? I can only see the transcription
Catherine Webb age 43, departed Liverpool and arrived New York 18 Aug 1843 on the ship 'Stephen Whitney' She died in 1865 in New York and had applied for Naturalisation in 1848 and took the oath in 1850. Now did Titus go to NY first and Catherine followed?
Looking at the 1850 census again Elijah's age is 13 so born England c1837. I will correct it in my first post.

    Titus's naturalisation document is 1847

you say that Catherine died 1865. Are Titus and Catherine not together in 1870 at Morrisania, Westchester, NY ?
Titus aged 74, Catherine aged 69

so Titus died in Worcestershire, UK in 1881 and he's on the 1881 census in Worcestershire, a widowed retired tradesman ?

looks like Titus has been here before

newspapers carry death notices for Titus saying he was in the US for 46 years and died at the home of his niece Mrs Hyrons at Lye, Stourbridge.

wimsey, you're currently on fire with this and other recent findings.

I've now linked the previous thread to this one and closed it.

a public tree on @ncestry has an attached document for Catherine's 1875 burial saying she was buried in the same grave as a John Barry who the tree owner is suggesting was Catherine's son by a previous marriage (previous to her marriage to Titus Webb)

    Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn
