This man enlisted as George MARTIN, so is "mis-filed" in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363).
Alfred Thomas WEBB, enlisted 17 Aug 1914, declared age 41y 165d, born Old Ford, London. Previous service with the East Yorkshire Regt. Served until Dec 1918 with the Lincolnshires (Regt No. 8104).
Declared married at Old Ford, date illegible, to FANNY TAYLOR.
BUT his wife is named as ROSETTA.
The 2 Death Certificates show her name as FANNY WEBB.
Children:
Rosetta 1907, May 1909, William Henry 1911, Louisa Lilian 1913-d1914 (GRO shows mmn DONOVAN).
George Edward 1914-d1914, Henry Frederick 1916 (mmn TAYLOR).
I assume there were 2 wives but I cannot find either marriage (I've searched 1893-1917).
Good Luck if he's yours!
