Im aware you posted siblings previously but what i was concerned about is that Susan appears to have had a child to George 18 years after the last child, George edward born 1877 then Franics James in 1895 . Susan then apparently had children to someone else between those 2 births? Sorry but im really confused as you have Francis listed as one of the children to George.

I'm aware you would have most if not all the information posted but sometimes going over things something might pop up that was missed previously, i also like to follow a family a bit and see if something might give a lead to the information on George that you are looking for.
I'm guessing that the witnesses on George and Susan's marriage certificate don't lead to anything?

Doreen - have you got the birth certificates of any of the children, especially Francis, or are you relying purely on indexes?
I remember very nearly coming a cropper when going through the baptism registers of one church. Loads of children with parents William and Mary. Till I did a bit of arithematic and realised that with a rather large gap between the last of first lot and the first of the second lot they were two different families.

Someone correct me if im wrong but i think if the spouse has been gone and not heard of for 7 years or more and if they have tried finding them [such as the article above] they are free to remarry. I feel that George has done a runner and been gone for over 7 years, if this is correct George would not be the father to Francis.
