    Default Daughter of "UK Mutt"

    Hello and good day.

My name is Jessy (Dunn) Schaffer. My dad is what I jokingly refer to as a UK mutt: his family goes back to England (White, Jackson), Ireland (Maxwell, Hill), Scotland (Dunn, Gourlay), and Wales (Jones). My ancestors came over from 1620 on the Mayflower to March 1908.

    Hello Jessy,

    Welcome to British-Genealogy.

Re the bit in bold, as Osgood says at the end of 'Some like it hot' - "nobody's perfect".

How wonderful to be able to trace your ancestors back 400 years, and to such an historic event. My earliest proven ancestor is 1699.
