Edward Manden, bap 20 April 1776, place Baglan, parents John and Mary. Looking at the original could well read Munden. The Edward Thomas Munden, bap 28 Jan 1772 had parents John and Mary.
Edward Thomas Munden named a daughter Zillah. Noticed a Zillah Mondan bap 6 Jun 1758, place Llantwit-juxta-Neath - parents John and Zillah. A Zilla Munden was buried St. Thomas, Neath, 11 Jun 1791. Wondered if there was link?

A Zillah Munden married a Daniel Bambow, 19 Feb 1786 at Neath, St. Thomas. One of the witnesses looks suspiciously like Yerbere (?) Munden (Warning - it's all too easy to read what you want to see in these circumstances!!). Didn't Edward Thomas Munden, Penllyn, name one of his sons Yerbury (or similar)?

The 1841 Census only identifies County of Birth - provided you still live in the County in which you were born. Else it will indicate "Not born in County". Hence the significance of finding him in '51 - which will refine PoB beyond County.
Edward Thomas Munden was born Glamorgan on the '41 Census - he lived in Penlline at that point in time.."dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"

Sound like that might be the correct one in the 41 census it says he was a schoolmaster, but have looked for hours and can’t find any info anywhere on that.

Edward Thomas Munden, bachelor, married Mary Flew, widow, at Penlline on 24 Feb 1821 - witnesses William Thomas and Richard Meyrick. Edward Thomas Munden and William Thomas signed - the other two made their mark
Need to track Mary Flew, widow, back to Baglan (PoB of the '51 Census Mary Fruman)?"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"
