That area has changed so much but Webster is still there. My last boss was Headteacher there before he came to our school.
Off course there were other schools hence suggesting the list, more likely to ring a bell!
Remember as a young girl going with my mum to the market on Denmark Rd. Family all originally lived in that area before relocating to other parts of the city.

Can you remember your daily journey to school? I suspect it was a walk rather than dropped off/picked up as happens mostly today? Did you turn left or right when emerging from Ripon Street? Or did you go towards Halley Street?
These are 2 maps published 1946 before the area was developed. Schools are marked but not named
https://maps.nls.uk/view/102339522
Click on map - Ripon Street is on the extreme right near the number96 written in red.
Turning right out of Ripon Street there's a school at the end of Greenheys Lane. Just to the left are schools on Hall Street.
Turning left out of Ripon Street there are schools on Florence Street and bottom of Monton Street.

Click on map - this is the area to the immediate east of Ripon Street. Again, look for a red 96 left hand side..
Denmark Road is on the extreme left of map- with a school marked. There are schools on Dover Street (near the Museum/Victoria University), Grantham Street (bottom of map) and Lloyd Street (just off the Wilmslow Road). This might well be a Catholic school.
Check the street names around each school - might trigger a memory?
