I joined here yesterday. I'm retired, and have been researching my family tree(s) for over thirty years. I've just started on the American branch. They emigrated from my home town in Wales, to Portland Oregon back in the 1920s (I think.) Haven't even explored this site yet. Wish me Luck.

You'll need a flask of tea whilst you are exploring the forums because we all tend to go off track reading about all the interesting stuff on here.
If you need help with anything just pick a suitable forum and post what you know and what it is you are hoping to find out. Don't worry too nuch about which forums to use because a moderator can always move the threads around. Also do join in if you think you can help others with their queries. The more of us the better.

Thanks for making me welcome. Although I was born in Wales, I now live in North Somerset. Most of my ancestors come from Herefordshire. However, I am looking forward to exploring this site.
