    So am I looking at people being moved to other parishes for relief? There was no other clue in the list and no title to the start of the entry.

    It would seem so.
    However the easiest way is to transcribe a couple of the entries - word for word as written, including any ' touchings' - and then the experts (i.e. not me!) will give you a definite answer.

    I've just realised that you're talking about 1834 when the Poor Law Amendment Act came into being, so I expect there were a lot of parishes trying to rid of people who didn't have legal settlement there.
