Hello
Really need your expert help please, found birth for Albert Palmer 1850 Wadhurst mother Mott On the Marriage banns 15 dec 1879 st pauls deptford for a Albert Palmer and Alice Louisa M Snood (has a lot of writing down the side ?) states father Phalic Palmer! I found them on the 1851 census Reed Cottage Wadhurst as the Mother in law was entered Phoebe Mott but Albert is down as Abner, found Phalic marriage to a Caroline Mott 1848 Wadhurst. but having trouble finding Phalic births around 1827 found christening on Family search 21 aug 1825 parents Peter and Jane and again 2 aug 1812 a Phineas Palmer parents Peter and Jane, can only find one marriage for a Peter Palmer and Jane Roberts 1807 Wadhurst. really hope this all makes sense
any leads would be great thank you

FindMyPast has a non conformist Palmer baptism at Wadhurst but has not transcribed the first name. Looking at the original I think it reads
"Phalick Palmer son of John and Mary Palmer of the Parish of Wadhurst in the County of Sussex was born July 6 1830 and named at Shenangneen? Chaple Sep'r 5 1830"
Denomination Baptist"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"

"Shover's" it is. Amazing how it jumps off the page when you know what it should be. There are numerous entries but that item is so difficult to read for each. At least the Minister began to spell "Chaple" correctly in later entries!

GRO Birth Registration
Wadhurst falls within Ticehurst Registration District. Had hoped to spot Cornelius and Philadelphia but this popped up to confuse things -
Amos Palmer, Jun Qtr 1839, Ticehurst Union, vol 7 page 446 - mother's maiden name Bassett"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"
