I don't use Familysearch often - struggling to find a christening for Phallic, Aug 1825. Can see a death 1879, age 54, born c. 1825.
Is the source of the 1825 christening the parish register, a tree or other? The site used to invite the setting up of records by the public but, on enquiry, the source, whether parish register or "contributed" by public (cannot recall the term given to such records), was clearly indicated. I think the distinction can still be determined but it escapes me (must try harder!).
Can you give details of the "source" of the Aug 1825 christening? What was Phallic's father's name (if present) on marriage cert?"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"

Apologies for confusing you. Hadn't fully appreciated from you initial post that "Peter" was named on marriage cert. and 1825 christening name was "Phalec" not "Phalic. You get quite a different result on FamilySearch with each.

I had a look at FamilySearch for Palmer baptisms, born Wadhurst, 1800-1830, parents Peter and Jane. It delivered
Elizabeth, 2 May 1802; Philadelphia 24 Nov 1805; John 24 Apr 1807, bur 28 Jan 1828; Phebe 20 Nov 1808; Philemon 11 Nov 1810; Phineas 2 Aug 1812; Phares 3 Apr 1814, bur 6 Jan 1832; Priscilla 24 Nov 1816; Piety 7 Sep 1817; Prudence 25 Jul 1819; Jane 2 Dec 1821; Job 7 Sep 1823; Phalec 21 Aug 1825.
The images from 1814 on show Peter's occupation as "Labourer"."dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"

1841 (ref HO107 1116 9 5 2)
Address - Cottage, Wadhurst, Ticehurst
Jane Palmer, 60, born Sussex
Job Palmer, 15, born Sussex
The practice of rounding ages down in 1841 means Job was born sometime 1822-1826. This would fit the Joab posted earlier?.
FindMyPast has the baptism (transcript only) of -
Peter Palmer, 22 Dec 1776, Wadhurst, parents William and Susannah."dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"

1851 Census
Address - Sodom, Wadhurst
Thomas Manktelow, Head, Widower, 42, Ag Labourer, born Wadhurst
The last person listed in the household is -
Jane Palmer, Mother in Law, Widow, 70, born Wadhurst
FMP has the marriage (transcript only) of -
Thomas Manktelow and Piety Palmer, 18 Feb 1837, Wadhurst
On the 1841 Census a Piety Mantelow, age 20, is living with a Thomas Mantelow at Sodom, Wadhurst.
Rounding down of ages in 1841 means that Piety's year of birth is 1817 - 1821, which fits the 1817 birth posted earlier."dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"
