Smile Hello there my name is Linda

My uncle Harry Neave was a POW in the Pupu prison in Japan. He had to work on the Burma Railway. Luckily he did survive. Does anyone have any information about him and the camp please?
I shall be happy to make the acquaintance of fellow researchers

Have you acquainted yourself with the National Archives guidance?

Welcome to the British Genealogy Forum, Linda.
Do you have his regiment and service number?

WW2 service records (and more recent ones) have not been made available for general publication yet, but families can buy a set for 30 pounds and a photocopy of the death certificate.

There's a post about the procedure HERE.

A very warm welcome to Brit-gen
Forces War Records (a subscription site) has POW records for a Harry Neave, Service No. 919964. One of the records mentions " POW Camp - Pudu". You have posted "... Pupu prison ...". I cannot find reference to a Pupu POW camp/prison.
POW records for this individual are also available on FindMyPast.

The Forces War Records provide name and address of mother - which match an entry on the 1939 Register for Peterborough.
