I don't have an answer for you, Peter, but please let us know when you find the answer. I assume that there's nothing among the NA help files?
Anc has only the most basic transcription, with no mention of those references. They give their primary source as "Men of the Battle of Waterloo 1815. The Naval and Military Press Ltd.." It might explain - if it's available at one of the online libraries...
