Default Royal Scots in Burma WW2

My Father-in-Law served in the Royal Scots in WW2 in Burma, I have other info but unfortunately not his service number and to get an idea of his service I need this, his name was William James Coote born in 1909 in Edinburgh, if anybody can help me with this problem I would be most appreciative

    Hi

You don't need his service number, full name and date of birth is sufficient, see - https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military...-elses-records
Click on British Army search form, it clearly says that on the form. So fill that form in and the NOK form.

    regards
