    Default Napoleonic war casualties

    Hi, a couple of questions.
Did they bury their war dead in Europe or bring them back to the UK?

If former did they have “funerals” or memorial services in the UK? I’m thinking more Foot Soldier level rather than officers.

We’re young children of people who died given any assistance? I know boys went to Greenwich, but what about daughters?

Is there a database of Napoleonic war dead?

Did foot soldiers get assigned to different regiments for different battles? ie if a name comes up in one Regiment search, could it be same person in a different regiment?

    Thanks.

Doesn't make for happy reading. https://

Try using words such as 'Napoleonic war casualties burials' in a search engine for loads more information.
