I hope it turns out to be right. There's lots of circumstantial evidence, but a baptism or a will to confirm it (or not) would have been helpful!

Just one will found but enough to be able to join the dots especially with the naming pattern. There's always baptisms but not necessarily wills. And having various family members living sometimes next door to each other made it pretty conclusive. There didn't seem to be anyone out of place either in name or age. So my fellow researcher in London and I are rather satisfied that this family has been put together. Thank you so much.

I am researching a John Richards who married Jane Buckley at Worthington in 1818, and this thread has information that links John and James as brothers, and suggests that their parents may be William Richards and Elizabeth (possibly nee Bakewell).
I am very interested to know if anyone has managed to confirm that John and James are brothers, and that their parents are William and Elizabeth.
