Seargenton/Sargeant Edgley b. 1709 Newhall, Wrenbury, Cheshire, m. Ruth.....? around 1746. 1st child b. 1748 (Elizabeth) B o T, Staffs. as were the next four. Sergeant Edgely d. 1766 B o T, Ruth 1758 B o T. I have searched FMP, Ancestry and Family Search Cheshire, Staffordshire and even left "place" blank. This is doing my head in. Select births and christenings does show parents as Sargeant and Ruth. Would love a result. Thank you.....Lizzie

I presume your query refers to where is B o T, Staffs, to which I suspect the answer is Burton on Trent.
Though officially (at least nowadays) it's Burton UPon Trent.

Hello Pam......Its the marriage between Sargeant and Ruth I am chasing. I just added the B o T connection for a bit of extra info. as in a marriage around the time of 1st born I.e. 1748. I can't find a marriage Cheshire, Burton or anywhere else. I have a great connection with. B o T. Many of my ancestors lived there (g.grandmother/father, grandmother/grandfather and my mother just missed out as they all migrated 1912 Australia and my mother was born 1913. There are many buried Stapenhill. I was supposed to be in that area June this year and staying with a cousin Draycott in the Clay but Covid 19 got in the way. Sorry for any confusion.....Thank you Pam
