Default Help with service records - G A E Weech

    George A E Weech (b8/1924 d 1987.
From his marriage certificate dated 1947 I have that he was a Private in the Royal Engineers, SN 14681995.

Searches using this information do not produce a result. Can anyone find any service record of him? Failing that, point me in the right direction please.

Service records for WW2 have not yet been released by the MOD. Relatives can buy a copy, it costs 30 pounds, you Have to provide a copy of his death certificate and it can take a few months. Have a look at the top of this Army forum and you’ll see a message with a link to info about this.

Of course! I know that - so I have no excuse.
