Just popped in to say hello.
Ive been researching on and off for a fair few years but whilst at home I am now doing a big blitz on a few lines. Got some lovely brick walls Im hoping to get through.
Beginning to loathe a few first names, where siblings all named their children after each other and their parents!

Although I have names repeated (three Thomas Williams in four generations in one family) so far I've only found one lot where three brothers went in for serial cross-naming. Fortunately their surname doesn't feature in a list of the top 500 surnames in the UK. Though this might just mean that they've that they've had all girls born into the family rather than all died off since their peak in the 1860s.
