Default Society of Genealogists & other archives

Because of a visitor who may have the coronavirus (he's not yet been tested) the SoG have decided to close until at least 27 March.
Further details will posted on their website on/after that date. sog.org.uk

A timely reminder for anyone planning to visit any archives/local record offices to check before you go that they are still open for business.

The National Archives at Kew are the latest to close (from 7pm tonight) until further notice.
However, in the email I received about the closure they also provided links to several areas of TNA which might prove useful in staving off the boredom of staying home.
