    Default Introduction

I am researching the family name of Morton, I have relations married in Clonmel 1n 1848, Johnston Morton and Clarinda Gallatle, who had one son John Morton, baptised in Clonmel in 1855.
Also relations married in Carrick on Suir in 1848, both documented with marriage certificates, I know where Johnston and Clarinda went...across the sea to Liverpool, but the Irish side of their lives is very sketchy and few records are available. I have no idea of the Edward Mortons (GT GT Grandfather) place of birth, where he lived, how old etc.... Driving me nuts!

    Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums
I see from your post about Arthur Morton that you are finding your way around the forums just fine. I have only been searching for a few minutes and my eyes are rolling.
I am sure some others will be along soon to help on that thread because we all love tp work on others brick walls because it gives us a break from our own!
