I'm trawling the pre-1812 Woburn PR and it's fascinating. I've noticed that children are always son/daughter of X (name of father), a married woman is always wife of X or widow of X and older single women are often described as spinsters. So what sort of age range are the few females recorded in burials who aren't children or spouses? Any ideas?
