hi christanel, i have forces war records, and the 95th rifle samuel green was killed @ trafalgar on victory and if he enlisted before 1800, he would have been enlisted to normal numbered regiments or perhaps militia. In 1800 they became the experimental corps, and then in 1803 the shorncliffe way and the formally called rifle brigade, because he ws there for the outset he is on the muster as 95th rifles but could have been before 1800 and indeed served on excellent with nelson at copenhagen in 1801.
this is how i have figured it ...hope this is good
thanks xxx
