Trying to obtain some information about Dads military service while waiting for his death cert to come back to enable me to see his military record.
I know he was in the Royal Artillery TA from 1938 served during the war and stayed in the TA until about 1955.
Forces war records indicate he could have been in
Coast Artillery and Anti-Aircraft Regiment at some stage, does anyone recognise the cap badge from the link

It's not certain because of the angle, but it looks like the standard RA cap badge, agreeing with his shoulder flash. There's not much variation shown on Google Images.

Thanks spent a couple of hours looking on google images myself - the angle is difficult, but all the RA cap badges I have seen are much wider at the bottom
