Mis-filed in the MAR section of the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):
Papers concerning ERNEST HEALY, Pte 8725 Royal Welsh Fusiliers, killed early 1915, and who should receive his Death Plaque & Memorial Scroll.
It was allocated to his father, but claimed by the mother of his illegitimate child, whose Birth Certificate was found in HEALY's belongings.
ILENE LORETTE COOMBES was born 9 May 1915 to Miss ALICE COOMBES of Bristol, who later (probably 1917 - freebmd) married a WILLIAMS and moved to Newport, Wales.
Ilene's father was ERNEST HEALY. Year of birth not noted. His family are:
Parents: George & Olive (Reading)
Brother: Frank (c1897), serving in the RN
Sisters: Minnie TOMS (c1890) & Kate Louisa (c1902).

They are in the 1911 census under "Healey". It also lists another son, Percy, aged 12.
Anc has a WW1 pension record for George. He was 1258 of the 2 Royal HC Res Regiment previously of the Royal Berks (between 28 Mar 1900-27 Mar 1901 listed, but he was also in Egypt 1882, E.Sudan 1883, Nile Frontier 1885-6.).. Lists 6 kids: Flossie, Ernest, Willie, Minnie, Frank and Percy.
Interestingly, George was educated at 2 military schools and then an Industrial School.
There's a marriage for Ilene L Coombes (and Ilene L Williams) to Ronald T Bowen in Newport in 1934.
