This man joined the Army (in 1884) as MARNEY, and so is "mis-filed" in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):
George Frederick TYSON, joined the Durham Light Infantry on 25 November 1884, declaring age 21y 4m, born Cahir, Tipperary.
Regt No: 1630.
Termination of engagement: 1901.
Intended address: Newcastle.
Mother: Louisa Maria/Marie (living in Bow, London in 1884).
Married Amelia HANCE in November 1893 (at St Paul's Chapel, London).
I cannot find registrations for their children, but they may have been born abroad (military wives travelled with their husbands). They are listed as GEORGE 1898, ALFRED 1900 and what could be STEPHEN but looks like STEPSON 189X.
