Default Tyne Cot and Menin Gate War Memorial

Is it possible to view the list of war dead with no known graves at Tyne Cot and Menin Gate without having to pay for a separate subscription (I have Ancestry) or visit the location?

    Many thanks

Yes, nothing comes up on that but I didn't know whether war dead with no known graves were kept separate.

    Thank you

Take Tyne Cot for example. There's Tyne Cot Cemetery and Tyne Cot Memorial. Graves are in the cemetery. Names of men with no known graves are on the memorial.

If you look at the web page for Tyne Cot memorial you'll see Total identified casualties 35001 and you can click "Find these records"

Likewise the CWGC site page for the Menin Gate states "The Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, often referred to simply as the Menin Gate, bears the names of more than 54,000 soldiers who died in Belgium and have no known grave

Thanks, Peter, I was being prompted to a subscription page. Will have another look.

On the CWGC site, click on 'find war dead and cemeteries'.
You should then get a beige box underneath, the middle section of which says 'find cemeterues and memorials'.
    Click on 'featured'.
Then scroll down to Tyne Cot (care as the cemetery is separate to the memorial) and Ypres for the Menin Gate.

Scroll down the page, and you'll see a link which says 'find these records'. You can refine the list via the 'relevance' box.

(Just noticed that Peter did 'fastest fingers first' while I was s-l-o-w-l-y typing. )
