It's still behaving as I described in post #7 above - for me at least. It doesn't seem to be showing all unread messages, possibly just the ones that are a week old or less.

I was going to report a post (spam) but that button is missing too!

It is there, Peter, but you almost need x-ray eyes to see it.
If you look very closely in the blue box underneath the post box, on the left-hand side where the alert button used to be, you should see a black triangle. I've just checked it, and if you click on it, it does bring up a message box for reporting posts.

I have seen the post to which you refer, and the post and that person are now gone.

When I click on "Reply" or "Reply with Quote" the message box returned is not supported with the array of buttons etc. that allow italics, bold, underline, font, funny faces, icons etc. To generate these I have to progress to "Advanced reply".
I'm fairly sure that, before the June problems, the initial click on "Reply" returned these functions.

Or am I imagining the pre. problem situation?

    Hi helechau
You are quite right about the missing icons above the reply box and I did report this to Admin yesterday. Thanks for confirming my experience with this feature.
