I notice that you and helachau have continued the search. I stopped just in case Rob decided he'd got the wrong granny with Amy Millicent.

I'm giving it a rest now, I keep getting distracted by family and friends ringing to wish us a lovely holiday. I'll wait until Rob comes back here and see what he thinks.

    Hi Helachau,

I'm supposing Charles Henbery's father was also Charles Hembery, not BROOKS? If you'd like your post edited please shout.

Wow you guys are incredible, thank you so much for all the info, it is great.
The dates and names I have were from my late Mom. She did this in the early 90's so there was no internet. I have just started on this side of the family tree as I have been busy with the Talbot side, another very grey area, so again thank you very much, I shall add it to my tree.
Amy left the UK and went out to Rhodesia to look after the Rocksburg-Smiths to look after their children, is was there that she met her husband and never returned to live in England.

    Hi Pam,
I am not sure where the different spellings come from, all I know is the Hembrey as this was my Mom's middle name.

I am not to sure about Charles's birth date, I just worked backwards from the census when he was 67.
