Default Fanny LAZARUS and Alexander Abraham NATHAN

Fanny LAZARUS (b. Exeter c.1833) married Alexander Abraham NATHAN (b. Ludlow, Salops. c. 1823-1833) in Cheltenham in 1861.
I think this was Alexander's second marriage; he appears to be the same who married Caroline MOORE in Cheltenham in 1848 and by whom he had two sons, Henry and Charles Isaiah. I don't know what happened to this family after 1851 except that Charles was lodging with the family of Joshua Levi, Jewish Minister, in Cheltenham in 1861. I couldn't find a death entry for his first wife, nor did a divorce show up in my searches.

Fanny and Alexander had David Aaron (1862), Samuel (1863), Elizabeth (1866), Caroline, (1868), Rebecca (1870) and Leah (1874 - 1893). David and Samuel were born in Birmingham, the others in Cheltenham. I've found the 1871, 1881 and 1891 censuses for the family, but after that they vanish - except for Fanny who was admitted to an asylum in Feb. 1901 and died there in 1908.
I've found a number of news items about Alexander and Fanny. They're primarily the usual (for pawnbrokers) appearances in court as witnesses to theft. The latest I've found is a marriage notice from 1896 for Rebecca to Joshua DAVIS, son of Maria and the late Benjamin DAVIS.
Anyone able to help me find out what happened to this family? (I'm mostly interested in Fanny's children, but am also curious about Alexander's first family. )

Thank you, Sandyhall. I don't know how I missed this; was possibly blinded by the fact that Alexander ended up in an institution for the destitute. The census says Ret Traveller in Spectacles (presumably, Ret means retired). This was a common occupation for many of the LAZARUS family of Alexander Nathan's wife Fanny. His business in Cheltenham must have failed badly for him to end up in the Union Infirmary (and Fanny in an asylum). It's possible some of her more successful relations tried to help out by giving him work.
