I know Harborne was in Staffordshire at the time, but Henry was born and lived in Birmingham. I am trying to trace what happened to Henry Harvey b 1821 father Samuel and mother Elizabeth (Nicholls). I have a highly possible marriage in Nov 1848 at St Peters Harborne. Father Samuel, Dead, a comb maker. That fits with his baptism at St Philips Birmingham in May 1822. The bride in 1848 was Mahetavel Mason, father William. I cannot find any trace in the censuses and no deaths or any thing !! I wondered if Mahetavel might have been American.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I think Henry is actually a Stamper.

I had looked all morning on FS and Anc and came up with nothing .. Thank you so much. I will now search for any offspring. I wonder what the correct spelling of her name is and where it comes from?

Mehetabel is a biblical name.
There's a baptism at Birmingham St Philip of a Mehetable Mason in 1830 (born 1826), father William.

Thanks Dundee. I keep forgetting about wild cards. The once or twice I have used them I have failed miserably.
