    Hello

Wollerton (or sometimes Woollerton) is a hamlet in Hodnet parish.

The 1941 Kelly's Directory of Shropshire lists M. V. Sowerby as the resident of Wollerton Old Hall with the telephone number Hodnet 60.

The monumental inscriptions of Hodnet include:-

Emma Bailey CASEWELL / late of Kenstone / who departed this life May 11th 1907 / at the Old Hall Wollerton / in her 70th year.

The 1901 census (RG.13/2560 folio 17 page 4) shows that Emma was the sister of Jane CARTWRIGHT widow who was the head of the household at The Old Hall. The two sisters were born at Kenstone which is about 1˝ miles west of Hodnet.
