Thought I had just posted a reply when I sent the thanks, but obviously didnt press button. Sorry. I have puzzled over the ? of Hannah's parents names. There is a Hannah Taylor dying in NSW in 1851 aged 22 - 1851 NSW Aust records are scant, and probably nothing else to gain by buying a certificate. However a Henry Taylor married a Hannah Wright in 1851 (still scant record keeping) but I am suspecting he has had 2 Hannah wives. The Elizabeth Tilse is the line I am following, so if my theory is correct, Elver wont be her grandparent, which is a pity since there is an element of interest in your mention of criminal record for him. Thank you so much for likewise puzzling over the dilemma for me, which I am helping a friend with.
