Hi there
Am keen to learn more about the Vowles Bros who owned a foundry in West Bromwich until the 1950s. Great to hear if anyone has conducted research already.
Thanks

Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums
It will help us if you tell us what information you already have and what exactly you are looking for.
I typed and a few sites appeared, including one on Brit-Gen here
You will also get quite a few records where the owners are requesting additions and alteration to the foundry.
I don't kow what information is kept here but it seems to be the repository for information related to the foundry.

Thanks for location of information relating to the foundry.
My grandfather was Dennis Vowles, son of one of the brothers who co-owned the foundry. Keen to hear from anyone who knows more about the brothers or who is a descendant.

Vowles
Hi
I am a descendant of the Vowles family who own the foundry in West Bromwich.
My grandmother was Sarah Vowles (Daughter of Job Vowles) who worked at this foundry.
I have photograph of Job at the foundry with other workers. Most of the family tree has been put together if you require further information.
Regards

Job Vowles
Hi Anthony
My wife Kathleen, is a descendent of Job Vowles (1901 has him at Lewisham Rd West Brom) via his son Charles. I have just been checking out Charles’s history to learn about his WW1 service, he was gassed which may have contributed to his early demise. Happy to exchange our info, which is quite extensive.
Regards
Adrian
