Although my Cocking relatives are not in Cornwall I would be interested in contacting anyone who has researched the name. My Cocking(s) ancestor is said to come from Derbyshire although married in Prestwich in Manchester.

Hi Neil
I have an ancestor called Elizabeth Cocking(s) who married in Prestwich Manchester but says that she was born in Derbyshire on the census entries. She is a significant brick wall for me so I would be interested in contacting someone who has researched the name.

Samual Williams is still a mystery but i dont think we will ever get anything on him but at least we have found Lucy.. you don't understand how much it has ment to us as we have looked for her for months. So thankyou so much again x😁

30-09-2018, 6:36 PM #29Neil - If you have any of your Cocking's appearing in Chesterfield area, I know of someone there who has researched the name.
I have just picked up on your post from June re the Cockings. If you are still searching for your lot can I suggest you start your own thread about your brickwall and we will see if we can help break it down.
