They left England for Canada in 1913. Her name was Emma Smith (b:1871 Ashby St Ledgers) and her husband was Josiah Wells (b:1868 Long Buckby). Recent ancestor names at that time were Smith, Wells, Newmans, Facer, Compton, and Buckingham. I've never seen the Breeks name in relation to the family before.

Jane married Benjamin Newman Smith at Wolfhamcote in 1900, giving her address as Flecknoe.
My great-grandmother's mother was Emma Newman(s) (b:1832 Sawbridge, Warwickshire). This could be on the right track.

I always had Christopher, Samuel and Benjamin's middle initial as 'K' but now that I look at the original record again I see that it is probably an 'N' for Newman.

Based on your very helpful information I believe that the owner of the photo album was Jane Brooks, wife of Benjamin Smith. She would have brought the album with her when she and her husband came to Canada in 1911. By 1943 both Jane and Benjamin had passed and it would have been passed on to Jane's sister Emma, my great grandmother.

Now the challenging task of trying to determine who is who in the album.
