    hiya sandy thanx for your help , i have my granda enids birth certificate which has no fathers name, and i know meggie got married to jimmy because he became a dad to my grandma enid , but its trying to find my grandma enids real dad thats going to be the hardest bit

    No father's name on the birth certificate is going to make it virtually impossible to find the purported father of Enid.

    Only options I can think of are:
    1) Baptisnal certificate may carry the father's name, but it is unlikely
    2) searching Bastardy Bonds for maintenance payments in the local Record Office
